Kharag Singh
Kharag Singh is a proud small businessowner and community worker from Manurewa. He has operating his business in the heart of Manurewa for 26 years, and has been in touch with the pulse of the local community.
Kharag understands the pressures many Manurewa families are currently facing as he has raised his own family in the area. These include cost of living pressures, housing affordability and community safety concerns. A strong desire to help others has led Kharag down a path of community work where he has supported local schools, charities, sports and cultural clubs, and family members from diverse cultures in difficult situations such as the loss of loved ones.
Kharag has served the community as a Justice of the Peace after noticing a need for them in Manurewa. He is also is a former treasurer of the local Lions Club and is a current member of the International Rotary Club. #loverewa
