Raniera Pene
Raniera Pene (Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngati Rangiteaorere, Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi, Waikato) was proudly raised in South Auckland and is now a young homeowner within the Manurewa Local Board community.
Raniera currently serves his iwi as Senior Advisor to the health and wellbeing arm of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Whātua and is a board trustee of his hapū, Te Uri o Hau. Raniera has also worked as a public servant for the Ministry of Health and Te Puni Kōkiri.
Raniera attributes the greatest moments of his working career to when he worked at a youth organisation, enhancing and enriching the lives of whānau and rangatahi across the community of Manurewa. #loverewa
